Birth Centre Application Process

As of April 2010 the application  process to get into the RBWH Birth Centre is:

1. Have your GP fax a referral to 07 3636 5482, RBWH Maternity Outpatients Dept stating:

- That you are seeking Birth Centre care.
- Your estimated delivery date.
- That it is your first, second or subsequent baby.
- Your postal address.

 2. You will receive in the mail a 'care preferences form'.

3. Complete and return this form to the hospital.

4. If you are successful in your application, you will then receive a letter from the Birth Centre containing all the info you need to proceed with appointments.
