Christmas Fundraiser Cake Stall

It's that time of year again and we need all the bakers we can get. This December we are aiming to crack the $2000 sum that was raised last Christmas... so that's a lot of baked goodies!

Our bi-annual FBC cake stalls are the "bread butter" of the FBC fundraising activities and without these funds FBC is unable to fulfil a large portion of the support we give to the Birth Centre. When you bake a cake, a batch of cupcakes or some gluten free cookies you help us provide important resources to the Birth Centre. Previous funds have gone towards redecorating the birthing rooms and the production of an educational DVD for antenatal classes.

No contribution is too small. If each one of our members baked just one cake and we sold that cake for $10 we would make $1800! If you need any ideas for quick and simple recipes just drop us a line as we have lots of ideas we can share with you. We also have cellophane bags for you to package your goodies in that we can post out to you in advance.

Not a baker? Fear not as there are other ways you can lend a hand. We always need assistance manning our stall (including setting up and packing up) and we need people to volunteer as drop off points the day before the stall.

Another great way you can help out is by donating a raffle prize. If anyone has any item they would like to donate this would be very much appreciated. This could be a great way to promote your business.
