Please join us in welcoming: Alicia (Secretary) Lola (Vice President) Jenna (President), and Tina (Treasurer) to their roles. (In order of seating - left to right) We have also welcomed some new General Committee Members like Deanna (front right) to the team and welcome more members to get involved with FBC activities. Keep an eye out for our newsletter for the latest news and volunteer opportunities. You can register for our newsletter at www.fbc.org.au FBC has a proud 20 year history of supporting Birth Center midwives and the families that birth there. FBC represents the birth centre when it comes under threat, supports families with its popular Antenatal Information Sessions, and raises funds to provide equipment and resources for the birth centre. Unfortunately, if we are unable to appoint a new Treasurer and President at our AGM on 13 October, FBC will be dissolved as a not for profit association. Please note that these roles can be shared so if you have a friend you would like to co-President with, then that is OK. If you would like to see the home like environment and high standard of continuity of care continue at the Birth Centre then this is your last chance to get involved. There are existing procedures and systems in place for the running of the Association and a small dedicated team of committee members and midwives ready to support you. Read on below for more information and how to nominate. |
